Communication skills and strategies are a critical part of being an effective and engaging recruiter.
However, the way we communicate as a society is in a major state of flux right now. Several studies conducted in the past 12 months seemingly contradict each other as to the preferred methods of communication. And much of this analysis is focused on the newest generations in the workforce: Millennials and Gen Z. For example, findings show that younger workers prefer texting to in-person meetings, while another recent study found that the best way to communicate with Gen Z is face-to-face.
